spilt wine.

it's been awhile. I moved into my new apartment and i absolutely love every morsel of it!! My roommates are awesome and my room is coming together wonderfully! Thanks to my wonderful parents and brother, move-in went really smoothly and we already know some neighbors. But catastrophe has hit. while celebrating our first night in, we celebrated accordingly with a nice glass of wine from Trader Joes (gotta love two buck chuck) but since i'm still in summer school and trying to be a noble, faithful student i removed myself from partying to finish a paper and study for finals. as i was getting ready to print off my paper, the printer would not work so i reached to turn on the lamp on my awesome door desk (pictures soon i promise!!!) the lamp fell over, hitting a full wine glass of strawberry wine pouring directly onto my Macbook Pro. it was like watching my life shatter fall apart. as various words were screamed, my roommate and her friend came running in and joined me in my freak out. hoping to save my mac we put it upside down over night on top of the fridge. yea...it was still dead. the next few days was like waking up and realizing your boyfriend had broken up with you and there was no hope of getting back together...definitely broken hearted. but to every cloud a silver lining right?? i went to peach mac today and they had a 15" macbook pro from 6 months ago that had never been opened and was selling it for $200 so i snatched it! &&& then the mac guy told me i could see my broken mac on ebay for almost $500 so the catastrophe wasn't as bad! o ps- got pink eye today from all the dust while moving but i'm going on a date with OR intern :) life is beauty full!
